On Sunday (5th May) night, the host side Mumbai Indians (MI) comfortably beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by nine wickets (with 23 balls remaining) at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai). With this result, MI finished at the top of the IPL 2019 points table while KKR failed to advance to the IPL 2019 playoffs. Here we are with some statistical highlights of this match.

  • It is the joint second most number of IPL sixes for a KKR batsman (former KKR cricketer Yusuf Pathan also hit 85 IPL sixes for this side). Only Andre Russell is ahead of Robin Uthappa with 117 IPL sixes for this Kolkata franchise.
