Indian captain Virat Kohli just recently lost his no.1 ranking spot in Test batting. In the last Caribbean tour, Kohli hit two successive ODI centuries but failed to reach three figures in the Test series. Apart from scoring two half-centuries during the Test series in the Caribbean tour, Kohli also scored a golden duck in the last innings. However, in-form Kohli is still enough dangerous who can hit a Test century very soon.

Ajinkya Rahane (Vice-captain)

Finally, Ajinkya Rahane has returned to his form. During the latest Caribbean tour, he was one of the top performers for India. The right-handed batsman was the second most run-scorer in that Test series as he scored 271 runs in four innings with an average of 90.33. He hit one century and two half-centuries in that series as he scored 81, 102, 24 and 64* runs. During India’s second innings of Antigua Test, Rahane hit a century which was his first international century in two years. Now, he has to maintain his batting form.
