Former Australian pacer Michael Kasprowicz recently revealed his top favourite XIs both he played with and played against.
Right-arm pacer Michael Kasprowicz was one of the members during Australia’s dominance period in international cricket. When the pace bowlers like Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee, Jason Gillespie were making the tough life for the opposition batsmen, Kasprowicz was another Australian pacer in that period. Due to the tough competition, Kasprowicz didn’t play much international cricket. But he was one of the dominant pacers in first-class cricket history.

Michael Kasprowicz played 38 Tests, 43 ODIs and only two T20Is from December 1995 to April 2006. The right-arm pacer bagged 113 Test wickets, 67 ODI wickets and five T20I wickets. But in first-class cricket, he took a whopping 959 wickets in 242 matches.
Recently, Kasprowicz revealed his best opposition XI in The Cricket Monthly, ESPNcricinfo’s digital cricket magazine. In this list, he chose four Indian cricketers – Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble. Former left-arm pacer Wasim Akram is the only other Asian in this list.
Moreover, three cricketers are from West Indies – Brian Lara, Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh. He also chose two cricketers from the top-rival side England – Alastair Cook and Andrew Flintoff. Former New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum is the other cricketer in this list.

Meanwhile, Michael Kasprowicz also revealed his best red-ball cricketers he played alongside. The former English cricketer Graham Gooch is the only non-Australian in this list as young Kasprowicz played with him in Essex.
Kasprowicz also surprises with his choice for the captaincy role in this list. Despite playing most international cricket matches under the captaincies of Ricky Ponting, Steve Waugh or Mark Taylor, he chose Allan Border for the captaincy role. During his early professional cricket career for Queensland, Border hugely inspired him.
