The actions did not continue for the fans in attendance on last night’s episode of SmackDown. The show took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania had two huge main event matches following the main show.

The attractions were even bigger for the fans as two of the most popular names from the current WWE roster were seen in action. The non-televised segment had The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns on the card in two separate matches. Both these contests took place after the SmackDown taping was over.

The first dark main event witnessed Roman Reigns securing a singles win over King Baron Corbin. He used the Spear in order to receive the big win. Fans noted on Twitter that The Big Dog received pyro for this dark match, unlike the main show.

In the other dark match following SmackDown, WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” defended his title against Daniel Bryan. He was able to pick up a clean win over the newly found challenger in Bryan. Here are the highlights from the future Survivor Series contest, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)

“The second dark main event saw WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” retain his title over Daniel Bryan, a match that was also just confirmed for the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 24.

The Fiend reportedly took a bunch of kicks from Bryan, including the series of “Yes! Kicks,” but no-sold them and put him away with the Mandible Claw and then Sister Abigail for the win. WWE kept the red lighting over the ring for the match.”

As noted here, WWE has confirmed that The Fiend will be defending his title against Daniel Bryan in a fresh matchup at Survivor Series.

The new contender was handpicked by the champion as he decided to attack Bryan in a backstage segment, last week. Last night, both of them decided to compete in a title match on the PPV night.

As for Roman Reigns, he is involved in a current feud with King Corbin. The rivalry continued on last night’s show with Corbin mocking Reigns’ Big Dog gimmick. These two are currently set to perform side by side representing SmackDown at Survivor Series PPV.
