James Anderson to return in Sri Lanka series:

Lately, Anderson’s career has been injury prone but it hasn’t halted him to give the best to the team.

Moreover, he is confident that he will join his national side ahead of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.

“It’s good, it’s all healed. I’ve been training for a few weeks now, getting my bowling back up to speed, and I feel really good,” Anderson told Sky Sports News.

“That’s the aim. The aim for me is to get fit for whatever is next and at the moment that is Sri Lanka.

“With a broken bone you are just waiting for that to heal, you’ve not lost any fitness. It’s just about building my bowling back up now, we’ve still got a month before that tour so we have to just wait and see what the selectors think.”

Meanwhile, Anderson will surely strengthen the bowling department of England. As Jofra Archer is suffering from the stress fracture in the right elbow which has led his ouster from the Sri Lanka series as well as the IPL 2020.
