After landing in India, the United States of America (USA) President, Donald Trump has named the two top Indian cricketers in his speech while addressing the gathering of over one lakh at Ahmedabad. These two names are the former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and present captain Virat Kohli.
The USA President has come in India for the two-day tour on the invitation of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The USA President delivered a speech in the Motera Stadium (Gujarat), the largest cricket stadium in the world. Around one lakh people were present to welcome Trump.
Apart from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly was also present at this special event.

During his speech, Trump talked about the sought after Bollywood and Indian cricket. Talking about the famous Indian cricketers, the USA President hailed the legendary Tendulkar and present international cricket star Kohli for their brilliance on the field.

Trump said, “All over the planet people take great joy in watching Bollywood films, bhangra, and classic films like DDLJ and Sholay. You cheer on great cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.”
Tendulkar represented the Indian national cricket team from 1989 to 2013. Apart from playing the most number of international matches, and scoring most runs in international cricket history, Tendulkar is also the only cricketer to hit 100 international centuries. He also tops the list in many more record books in cricket.

On the other hand, Kohli is another top successful Indian cricketer. At present, the Indian captain is the No.1 ranked Test and ODI batsman. The right-handed batsman is performing consistently for a long time. He is also a successful captain in international cricket.

In the meantime, the Motera Stadium will be reopened soon for cricket. The stadium capacity is around 1,10,000, which makes it the largest cricket stadium in the world.
