Indian captain Virat Kohli will surely want to forget the ongoing New Zealand tour where he has got the worst experiences in the international career. Among the international tours, where he played in all the three formats, ongoing New Zealand tour is the worst of his career.
In the present New Zealand tour, Virat Kohli-led India have played five T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests. While India are playing the final Test of this tour, they won the T20I series by the 5-0 margin, lost the ODI series by 3-0 and lost the first Test. Apart from one T20I, which was the last game of that series at Bay Oval (Mount Maunganui), Kohli has played all the matches of this tour.
Though Virat Kohli started this tour with 45 runs in the first T20I, and also scored 51 runs in the first ODI, he only managed to play one more 20+ knocks (38) in the other nine innings of this tour. In the last six innings of this tour, the right-handed batsman scored 15, 9, 2, 19, 3 and 14 runs respectively.

In this tour, Virat Kohli scored only 218 runs in 11 innings (average 19.81). It is his worst performances on an international tour where he played all the three formats. His previous lowest performance in this list was scoring 254 runs in 15 innings during India tour of England in 2014.
