Kane Richardson will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming IPL edition. The speculation of his illness was also a threat to his IPL franchise who bought him in IPL 2020 auction, but now they might have relieved with the news of him being okay.

However, as the number of coronavirus cases in India are increasing, the BCCI has decided to postpone the IPL 2020 schedule. According to reports, the IPL might start from mid-April. If the league gets cancelled, BCCI will have to face a loss of 10,000 crores. So, it will be better for the board to delay the beginning of the IPL 2020.
