When it comes to revealing the top executives’ salaries in the WWE, the list does not usually contain the name of Shane McMahon. He is not involved that much when it comes to corporate duties for the company. He has his own business to run which may be the reason he skips running official’s duties for his father. But that does not stop him from getting a huge paycheck, every year, as clarified in a recent report.

Revealed: 2020 WWE Salary Of Triple H, Vince & Stephanie McMahon

Wrestlenomics mentioned the huge salary drawn by Shane McMahon for the year 2019, thanks to a recently released company document for the shareholders. It was stated that he received a whopping amount of $2 million as a performer, last year. This is just a base salary figure which does not include bonuses, stock options. Here’s the statement released by the source,

“Shane McMahon made $2 million in 2019 for his role as a performance. (Although he’s a former executive, doesn’t have any corporate role.)”

Update: Vince McMahon No More Attending WWE Raw Or Smackdown

It should be noted that Shane McMahon was not present on TV as an in-ring talent for the major part of the 2019 quarter. He was removed from SmackDown last year on October 5th on thanks to his feud with Kevin Owens who defeated him causing the “firing.”

Update On Shane McMahon’s Current Status With WWE

Thus, he was written off the show. Considering his nine-month stint, the revealed salary is not a bad payday at all for Shane McMahon as a performer.

Shane McMahon made a return to WWE programming back in 2016 that led the company to have a bigger attraction. It happened after a long hiatus away from his father’s company for more than five years.

He had a good run being the SmackDown general manager to show up on TV, every week. But we haven’t seen him since SmackDown debuted on FOX. (Except for the first episode)

Thus for the first time in four years, Shane McMahon is all set to miss WrestleMania. It appears to be hard to stay away from the extravaganza, entirely. So we believe WWE will bring him back for backstage duties.

Prior to this, Shane also played a pivotal moment while WWE delivered the 2020 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. He was said to be gearing up to take more responsibilities as a WWE official.
