Buttler added, “It was one of pressures you have to learn, especially in India, as an oversees players, you are one of the four in the team and you know the other four who are not playing are also world class players. So you are under pressure to perform.

“So that’s been a great learning curve. One of the things I came out with from the first IPL is to just learn to deal with the chaos.”

Jos Buttler has played 45 IPL matches where the wicket-keeper batsman has scored 1386 runs (average 35.53), including nine half-centuries. Buttler made his IPL debut in 2016 for Mumbai Indians (MI), and in 2018, he joined his present team Rajasthan Royals.

In the 2018 season, Buttler was the sixth most run-scorer as the right-handed batsman scored 548 runs in 13 matches (average 54.80), including five successive fifties.

Buttler has no problem to restart the game in empty stadiums. Though he feels that it will create a strange atmosphere, he also believes that it will take back the cricketers to the beginning chapter of their career.
