The novel COVID-19 or coronavirus has forced to postpone many recent cricket matches, and some other upcoming games are also in danger to face the same fate. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is focusing positively for the upcoming Australia tour in the late this year but has strong doubt for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020. To make the Australia tour successful, the BCCI is ready to allow the Indian players to face the two-week quarantine period before beginning their on-field involvement.
It is the big year for Australian cricket. The country will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 from 18th October to 15th November 2020 while a total of 16 teams will participate.

In the home summer, Australia will also host the full international series against the Indian team, where they will play three T20Is (before the T20 World Cup), three ODIs and four Tests.

However, the coronavirus has opened up the uncertain future of these upcoming crucial schedules. The Australian government has already decided to seal the border till September, while later, the external people will likely have to face the two-week quarantine after landing in the country.
There is no choice – everyone will have to do that: BCCI treasurer talking about following the quarantine rules during India tour of Australia upcoming summer
The BCCI is ready to allow the players for the two-week quarantine to start the Australia tour successfully. The BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has recently confirmed about it.

Dhumal told The Sydney Morning Herald, “There is no choice – everyone will have to do that. You would want to resume the cricket.
“Two weeks is not that long a lockdown. That would be ideal for any sportsman because when you are in quarantine for such a long period, then going to another country and having a two-week lockdown, it would be a good thing to do. We’ll have to see what the norms are post this lockdown.”
However, Dhumal isn’t confident about the future of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 as he feels that it is challenging to follow the actual schedule of this tournament.
Meanwhile, there is big speculation about the forthcoming Test series between Australia and India as the Cricket Australia (CA) is wishing to add another Test to make it the five-match Test series. However, Dhumal has now pointed out the revenue loss issue which can trigger for extra limited-overs matches in this tour.
