WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is currently enjoying the longest reign on the main roster in recent memory across all the divisions. Moving forward, she has achieved yet another accolade, as noted on social media.

Bayley has now crossed the 360-day mark on her current title reign, as of this week. Additionally, she’s passing 500 total days with the SmackDown Women’s title with her two combined title reigns.

Bayley’s first reign with the women’s title from the blue brand, began on May 19, 2019, at Money In the Bank PPV when she successfully cashed in the MITB contract by defeating Charlotte Flair. She did it right after Flair had defeated Becky Lynch for the title on the same night.

Flair won the title a few months later at Hell In a Cell on October 6, 2019, but Bayley won it back on October 11, 2019, SmackDown episode by defeating Flair via clean pinfall. It marked the beginning of this current reign that has been ongoing since then.

Bayley marked the milestone on Twitter while taunting Michael Cole, saying, “500 days as your @WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion – suck it @MichaelCole.” No one has captured the belt for this long, on Smackdown since the brand extension went down in 2016.

WWE has announced Sasha Banks vs. Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title for next Friday’s show when the Draft Night I will also simultaneously occur. This is going to be the next title defense for the champion again her own former best friend. Banks appeared last week on the show to remove her neck brace to reveal that she was medically cleared to wrestle. She also warned Bayley that she stands no chance against her.

It is being rumored that Baylay vs Sasha Banks would also go down at Hell In A Cell PPV event and perhaps inside the Cell structure marking the third overall gimmick match from the women’s division. It could also become the main event of the 2020 edition of the PPV that goes down at the Amway Center in Orlando on October 25th.

Apart from Bayley, WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray is also celebrating a major milestone, this week. Ray passed the 400-day mark of her title reign on Sunday. She won the title back on August 31, 2019, at “Takeover: Cardiff” by defeating Toni Storm.

It should be noted that Ray hasn’t been able to defend her title much this year as the COVID-19 outbreak put a halt to WWE’s filming of the NXT UK brand. But she just retained over Piper Niven, last week.

Ray mentioned achieving the milestone on Twitter by writing, “400 days & just getting started [relieved face emoji] FOREVER CHAMPION [person tipping hand emoji]”
