Sonya Deville went into a hiatus from WWE television just after escaping a very scary situation at her home. A long-time stalker of her broke into her home and intended to kidnap her, and perhaps possibly something worse. Thankfully, she had enough presence of mind who was able to ring the alarm and then notify the cops. They took care of the situation after arriving at the scene.

Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose were staying together in Florida at that time in the middle of their feud who were able to escape. The stalker’s trial could last into the Summer of 2021. So it’s pretty likely that a lengthy ordeal procedure would follow and that won’t allow her to come back on WWE as early as possible.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider was reminded that Sonya Deville has recently increased her social media activity. So it could have been a good sign for her career but that may not be the case. As per the veteran wrestling journalist, it wasn’t a good sign that she will return to WWE, soon.

“I would not use that as any indicator of her return officially to the company,” stated Mike.

Sonya Deville might not be back on WWE television for a while, especially if the reports are true that they must have to wait for her stalker’s trial to be over. If the case goes longer then her hiatus will also eventually be longer. There’s a huge fanbase available for her who must be hoping that it won’t take that long for Daddy Deville to re-appear once again.

Now, it’s pretty much frustrating that an outsider is costing Sonya Deville her career, big-time. She took to her Instagram Stories, recently to address the same and made it clear that she loves her fans, but will not hesitate to report them or take legal action if and when they cross the limit. Check out the full message posted by her,

“I love my fans very much and appreciate u despite what has happened I do not categorize u all as raging psycho paths. But harassing myself or people I have been w etc is never acceptable. I share my life with y’all to an extent because it is part of what I do and what I signed up for that being said I will not hesitate to report and or take legal action against anyone that has sent threatening messages and or anything inappropriate to me or someone in my life.”
