Paige is considered to be one of the brightest talents of the WWE female roster whose career came to a sudden end following a neck injury. She had to retire from in-ring competition only in her mid-20’s as she was unable to enjoy her stint for more than four years. Per WWE’s concussion laws, she cannot wrestle again but at least there are some hopes for her.

At this point, last year, rumors started flying that she could be returning to action when she appeared on SmackDown for a major announcement. Some of the fans hoped that it would be Paige herself who would hear up for an in-ring return which wasn’t the case as the pandemic just began to take over the United States around WrestleMania 36.

Paige was then locked inside her home amid the COVID 19 protocols applied in the state of California. She’s still present there with her boyfriend as chances of her return are still floating around. Following a segment on SmackDown featuring Daniel Bryan and Edge, she was amped up seeing how two superstars with neck injuries are back in action.

Ringside News provided an update on whether a comeback situation around Paige has occurred in WWE but the answer is negative. Currently, there is no plan to use her from a creative perspective. Her name doesn’t come up for in-ring action. Perhaps, she can only be considered to manage teams like the Kabuki Warriors.

It was additionally noted that there were no actual plans for Paige to make an in-ring return, last year. It was only fans who hyped up a theory via social media while it was never on WWE’s radar. The equation is pretty clear at this point where the former WWE Divas Champion isn’t cleared to compete,

“We keep getting questions about Paige, so we asked around and learned something interesting. No, there is no plan for her return, and her name doesn’t come up. We were also able to confirm that there was NO PLAN for her to make a return last year prior to the pandemic.”

Only time will tell if WWE uses Paige in a way before her deal with the company runs out. Back in 2019, she signed a multi-year deal although the timeframe for the contract was never specified. She is still permitted to use her Twitch Channel unlike any other Superstars but fans can find her by the real name of Saraya Knight-Bevis.
