That may not be the case as in an interview for WWE Germany, SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks confirmed that her match against the Women’s Royal Rumble 2021 winner will be the main event for Night 1 of WrestleMania 37.
If that is the case then it will be the second women’s main event in ‘Mania history, with the first one being Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35 over the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship. Banks vs Belair will make history, anyway considering that two black women will compete over a title in a singles contest.
