Becky Lynch hasn’t been back on WWE TV since last year’s May and multiple factors reportedly played a role in that. While we expect it to eventually happen, down the road, it appears the existing champion on the blue brand will be waiting to welcome her back. Bianca Belair, the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion can’t wait to get into the ring with The MAN, it appears.
At present, Bianca Belair is preparing for a high-profile match as she places her title on the line at SummerSlam 2021 against Sasha Banks in a rematch from WrestleMania 37 Night One. But in reality, she’s got someone else in the back of her mind. During an interview with Planeta Wrestling’s Miguel Perez, the EST of WWE said she is hoping to meet Becky Lynch back inside the ring.

“I would love to defend my title against Becky Lynch. You know, I think it speaks volumes of how big Becky is that she hasn’t been here in over a year but she is still one of the most talked-about names. That shows just how big and how amazing a superstar she is. And, of course, when she comes back, I would love to be the first feud with Becky Lynch when she comes back and I’m the type of person, I’m an athlete, right! So I know that in order to be the best you have to get in the ring with the best.”

Becky Lynch has been presented backstage for the recent TV tapings of the WWE including Money In The Bank PPV. PWInsider also informed that she will also attend SummerSlam 2021 on August 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. But that doesn’t mean she will be present on TV for her return. Reports claim that her arrival could have been pushed back.
There have been many rumors flying around about Becky Lynch’s impending return. It has already been reported that she is expected to make a return on the SmackDown brand although she’s an existing roster member for Raw. Joining the blue team makes sense since she is married to Seth Rollins who is also on SmackDown.
Ringside News recently asked about plans for Becky Lynch’s return to the WWE and they were told that “anything you hear about Becky being back before the draft is fake news.” It was also confirmed to them that she “is not scheduled back anytime soon.” That being said, she isn’t getting booked on any show until and unless Draft 2021 passes by.
