Kevin Owens signed on the dotted lines with the WWE for a five-year agreement in 2018 via which he was supposed to be under the WWE’s banner until 2023. However, recent reports claimed that the deal was tweaked around, a bit. The company had their own reasons to shorten up the deal amid the COVID-19 pandemic and they are also well aware that KO’s deal will be running out, earlier than expected.
To be precise, Kevin Owens’ WWE contract will end in January 2022 and he hasn’t renewed that deal for a further amount of time. Some fans have already speculated that he is unhappy in WWE and hence it will eventually lead to a departure. The former Universal Champion, himself sent out a vague AEW tease that helped in fueling up the rumors to a big extent. But being a veteran he also loves to play with the internet.

Recently, a fan sent out a tweet to say, “When you create a narrative you’ll see it everywhere you look.” This came as a response to another tweet that said, “Kevin Owens looks more miserable each time we see him.” The Smackdown did not make any reactions to the tweet, but he did press the like button. It seems that he agrees with the idea of fans believing that he’s not in a good position in the company.

Kevin Owens is yet to become an All Elite
People believe that he is unhappy in WWE, and the top superstar wants people to believe the same. Currently, he is still involved in a rivalry with Happy Corbin who is enjoying the program on WWE television. Hopefully, WWE management could keep Kevin Owens, happy if they don’t want to lose another top superstar from the roster.

According to a report of Fightful Select, WWE renegotiated several deals in 2019, as they adjusted them for higher downside guarantees. That means Kevin Owens is making more with his new deal, but it will run out, sooner.
“We know that WWE was aware of Owens’ deal, as we learned the news from a WWE employee earlier this Summer. This was not a case similar to Adam Cole or Pete Dunne, but the deal does end significantly sooner than previously publicly known.”
As for Kevin Owens’ AEW arrival, now talks have reportedly occurred between the two parties nor a deal was nurtured, as of this writing. Only time will tell what this means to the Prizefighter’s WWE future.
