Starting his career all the way back in 2002, Randy Orton is still a regular performer in the WWE. With almost two decades of experience by his name, this bonafide star performer is literally setting records with each appearance on WWE television.

A few weeks ago, Randy Orton had surpassed Kane’s record for most pay-per-view matches in WWE history by competing at WWE Survivor Series 2021. He and the other half of RAW Tag Team Champion, Riddle defeated Smackdown tag team champions, The Usos in a Champion vs. Champion non-title encounter. Randy Orton reached another milestone on this week’s RAW.

Then during the November 29 episode of Monday Night Raw, The Viper wrestled his 437th match on the show, which is more than any other Superstar in WWE history. The previous record was also held by WWE Hall of Famer Kane, who wrestled his 436th match on the Red Brand against R-Truth on the September 16, 2019, episode of RAW. It was barely a match where he lost the 24/7 Championship within a few seconds.

Randy Orton thanked his fans for his achievements

Going by the stats from The Internet Wrestling Database, Randy Orton (437), Kane (436), AEW star Chris Jericho (420), Triple H (377) and John Cena (373) round out the top 5 slots for having the most number of matches in WWE RAW history. Given that Orton is the only active WWE Superstar among these names, he’s likely to take his record to a whole new level. His win-loss-draw stat stands at 229-164-43, while Kane’s is 214-181-41.

Previously Randy Orton thanked his fans for their support throughout his WWE career without whom he couldn’t achieve these records,

“I’ve never been one to keep records or stats throughout my career. Early on, it was laughable to consider in my profession you had ‘wins’ and ‘losses’. You certainly wouldn’t talk about it, with the boys much less fans. But I’m fortunate to have some fans (and friends) that have done just that, kept my stats. Not just wins and losses, but damn near everything you could think of!”

During his record-breaking match on Raw, Randy Orton teamed up with Riddle and defeated The Dirty Dawgs to retain their tag team titles. Orton’s wife Kim Marie Orton reacted to that history-making win with a photo on Twitter.
