Randy Orton is unarguably one of the greatest talents to have ever performed inside a WWE ring. The veteran superstar is still an active wrestler on WWE Monday Night Raw despite his career spanning three decades. Over this lengthy tenure, he’s earned multiple nicknames with his in-ring work.
The Viper is one of those nicknames of Randy Orton about which one particular WWE Raw roster member is not very much thrilled. She is one of the newest recruits on the red brand on the female roster, namely Doudrop.
The former WWE NXT UK Superstar has only been with WWE for a couple of years, but she has already experienced several name changes. She made her entry in as Viper (a name she was using during her indie tenure over the UK circuit), then the name got changed into Piper Niven which was then transformed to Doudrop by her former protégé, Eva Marie upon her main roster debut.

From WWE’s perspective, the name change of Viper was necessary as they would certainly not want the fans to mix it up with Randy Orton. Now Doudrop jokingly admitted during a conversation with The Metro that the two of them have beef over The Viper moniker,
“It’s gotta be Randy Orton,” Doudrop said upon getting asked which male stars she’d like to face in WWE “Me and him have some historic beef over who the real Viper is. [laughs] I think he’s great, and I’m really enjoying him and Riddle’s tag team together, getting to see a different side of him. They’re just so multi-faceted and such good people to learn from.”

Doudrop recently turned heel during WWE Raw now that her mentor Eva Marie has been released from the WWE. Bianca Belair was about to win a fatal-5-way match to become the number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship but Doudrop pulled Belair out of the ring and allowed Liv Morgan to roll up and get the pin on Zelina Vega.
As for Randy Orton, he’s enjoying his stint as the reigning WWE Raw Tag Team Champion with Riddle. The two have picked up the straps by defeating AJ Styles and Riddle, back at WWE Summerslam 2021.
