Jeff Hardy walked out in the middle of a Live Event match in WWE and was sent home by the company officials from the road. Apparently, the top superstar looked more sluggish as the match progressed, leading to the decision. WWE reportedly offered him a rehab session which was turned down. As a result, he ended up being released from the company.

Now, obviously, speculations are high that Jeff Hardy could end up being in the All Elite Wrestling promotion in the near future. Matt Hardy fuelled up the speculations, even more as he took to Twitter and teased his brother joining him in Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.

“I feel xtremely good about the future,” tweeted Matt.

Team Xtreme is another name for the Hardy Boyz which had previously been used in the WWE. Only time will tell whether a reunion for the Hardyz is set to happen in WWE’s rival brand. But for that to happen, we have to wait for at least a few months. Following the release, Jeff Hardy’s no-compete clause with the WWE is intact and it will only end on March 9, 2022.

In more news to the reunion, Jeff Hardy would be an asset to any wrestling company given his star power. However, it also needs to be considered that he refused to go to rehab. This factor will come into play when considering for a future signing.

AEW may not be interested in Jeff Hardy

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported about the possibility of Jeff Hardy arriving in All Elite Wrestling,

“Given his name value, one would think most companies would have interest in him, but for AEW, there has to be a question regarding signing him due to the nature of refusing rehab.

A revitalized Hardy Brothers, something nobody expected to happen again given that Jeff had signed a new long-term deal with WWE, in that tag team picture would be hard to turn down. It would have to be on a zero-tolerance deal.”
