The tug of war between WWE and the Big Guy, Ryback is going on for quite a few days now. The friction between the two parties first came to public on the day of WWE Payback when Ryback posted his comments on the blog and he was noticeably missing from following day’s Monday Night Raw where a battle royal was held for the United States Championship.
He was supposed to feature in the match since he was the previous number one contender for the US championship. He battled the champion Kalisto at WWE Payback pre-show for the championship which ended in a losing effort. It was rumored that he was sent back to home from Raw since he was not shown on TV, the next night on RAW.
As per the reports from cagesideseats.com, WWE had already made the decision to send Ryback home, prior to the Payback pay-per-view. It also added that no whatsoever communication was done between Ryback and WWE since he was sent home on Monday from Raw.

The backstage officials of the franchise think that the company wants Ryback’s contract to expire and will make no effort to reach to him for negotiation. They are not likely to release him by terminating the contract but will keep him off television for the remainder part of the contract. The Big Guy’s contract is about to expire in a few months.
Ryback’s issue with WWE started last month when he commented in an interview that he is thinking to jump ship from WWE. He was called to Vince McMahon’s office according to the reports from Wrestling Observer Radio. The reports also said that the Chairman of the board and the Big Guy had a discussion over his contract. But the sad news is they never got along on the same page and reached to an agreement due to some constraints that were stagnant.
