With Wrestlemania 38 on the horizon, there are some reported plans to have a major new heel faction on the WWE RAW brand. A pitch was recently made for WWE Hall of Famer Edge who would be the leader of the heel stable. Fightful Select also reports that unless plans change, the stable should start functioning without much delay.
Edge is currently scheduled to take on AJ Styles in a WrestleMania dream match as the source has heard of a major pitch involving the Rated R Superstar. With the Hall of Famer turning heel for the first time in ages on WWE Raw, the creative pitch calls for adding some more dimension to his presentation. Here’s more from the source,
“We’re told there has been a particular pitch that has been talked about heavily from the creative side of things that would see Edge get a new stable. There have been several notable names that have been discussed for the group, including former WWE United States Champion Damian Priest.”

Priest and Edge previously opened up on wanting to work with each other and that may finally end up happening on WWE Raw in due course. Fightful also noted how it was originally thought that Priest would be on the WrestleMania 38 card challenging United States Champion Finn Balor in a championship rubber match.

But they were then added to the WrestleMania Smackdown Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Despite the speculation, the two weren’t involved in any sort of angles. Hence it appears that the heel faction should be formed, imminently.
Over on WWE Raw, Edge’s theme song has already been changed to match his current heel persona. The eleven-time world champion has since been indicated to grow stronger as a villain. The superstar who made a triumphant return at the 2020 Royal Rumble is very much different from the darker version we’re seeing, these days.

There’s no concrete update on exactly when this new stable with Edge being the leader, would be introduced. We assume the post-WrestleMania WWE Raw could be a perfect place to see this happen as it usually features big angles and new storylines. This would also fall in line with the report that the group would be introduced imminently.
