Charlotte Flair remains the top-most prospect in the WWE for the past several years. It all started with her debut on the main roster as WWE quickly placed her on the throne and never really took it back.
Many fans are unhappy with Charlotte Flair always getting VIP treatments in the WWE via her solid bookings. They seem to be frustrated every time she wins a title, an opportunity that should be reserved by some emerging superstars. However, the tradition of burying fresh talents using generational talent has not stopped on WWE programming.

Being the daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair is often mentioned as the genetically superior athlete. As a second-generation talent, one would expect her to grow up as a child who had a nag in pro wrestling as a child. However, that was not necessarily the case.
Charlotte Flair became a pro-wrestling fan at a later point in life
While speaking to CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri, Charlotte Flair revealed something interesting about herself. She was not a fan of wrestling while growing up and watching her father performing inside the ring. She ultimately fell in love with it due to her respect for the business and the inspiration received from her peers.
“Actually, I did not really grow up as a WWE fan. I did not grow up a wrestling fan one bit. Everyone is under the assumption because my dad is who he is. I did not get in the business until way later. It is more just about respect,” Charlotte Flair continued.
“Like when I had my match against Trish at SummerSlam, it wasn’t the inner child in me, it was more what Trish meant to the business, and she came back to want to wrestle me, so I have to live up to her expectation. So it’s never like a little kid moment. It’s more like these moments that cause pressure.”

Charlotte Flair also transitioned into a professional wrestler from different sports but she managed to become perhaps the best performer in that locker room. She has won 13 singles championships in the WWE with many more to follow. Plus, she main-evented PPVs including a Wrestlemania to become a bonafide headliner.
