It was a well-documented incident between the champions during a title exchange segment where the two threw away their titles at each other to instigate some controversies.
Later it was reported that the instigation started by Flair was not part of the script. Afterward, Becky Lynch also opened up about her relationship with her former bestie and we got to know about how things went sour between the two. During a house show, Flair again threw a belt at the former four-horsewomen member to confirm the same.

While speaking to BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani, Becky Lynch again noted her relationship status with Flair and revealed that things haven’t improved between the two of them. She could only hope that some things shouldn’t have gone down the way they did. But that remains an imagination, only.

“I wish the whole thing did not go down the way it did. I really do believe that it did need to go down that way, but I don’t really have any regrets on my behalf… Same [relationship with Flair now compared to 2021], same, just pass each other in the hallway. Sometimes [say “hello”], maybe a nod. No [“how are you?” questions],” Becky Lynch stated.
At WWE Survivor Series premium live event, last year, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair squared off against each other in the opening match of the show amid big controversies. Lynch won that match via a roll-up and proceeded to take a shot at her opponent. The two competed in that match like true professionals but it’s unlikely that they will compete in another match, anytime soon.
Regardless of their relationship, both women continue to be cornerstone figures in the WWE. Flair’s booking remains one of the most polarizing decisions in WWE as noted by the fans on social media. Despite that, she went on to become a 13-time champion and more accolades could be waiting for her. As for Becky Lynch, she also is a five-time women’s champion who also is the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion.
