Roman Reigns has unleashed his God-mode for a long time where WWE could barely find a suitable opponent for him to be the challenger. Since his return to the WWE during SummerSlam 2020, he’s been residing on a whole different level. He has been a dominant universal champion since then, claiming his rule over Friday Night Smackdown.
His status was even upped at Wrestlemania 38 where he defeated Brock Lesnar in a title vs. title unification match to become the undisputed WWE Universal champion to rule the roost in the WWE. That being said, he’s the top-most superstar on both Raw and Smackdown. WWE Universe has to acknowledge him wherever he shows up and not even Charles Barkley was any different.

The Basketball legend mentioned Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns during the Inside the NBA on TNT telecast Tuesday night. He also his co-analysts with the “Acknowledge Me” phrase.
Barkley spoke about professional wrestling after a tweet from a fan account named Mr. Perfect was displayed on the screen. In response, Barkley said, “Is that Mr. Perfect? Is that Curt Hennig? I remember him, he was a hell of a wrestler. He ain’t no Ric Flair or Rock, or Chris Jericho or Roman Reigns, but he was great.”
Then the host Ernie Johnson tried to get Barkley to get back to speaking about the ongoing NBA Playoffs. In response, Barkley said, “You better acknowledge me!”
The Special Counsel, Paul Heyman took to Twitter to react to the clip of Barkley speaking on Roman Reigns as he plugged in his master which you can see by clicking here

Roman Reigns is an undisputed champion since Wrestlemania 38

As noted, Roman Reigns became a dual champion at Wrestlemania 38 and then he asked SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Usos to bring him the RAW Tag Team titles. This set up the tag team title unification match with RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) but for some reason, that match has been postponed.
WWE is also reportedly holding off a huge Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre singles bout until after the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event. After the cancellation of the tag title unification match, Reigns and The Usos will wrestle McIntyre and RK-Bro in a Six-Man Tag Match main event.
