An already announced matchup at AEW Double or Nothing 2022 received a new stipulation during last night’s Dynamite. The weekly episode on TNT Network featured a segment where MJF and Wardlow confronted in the ring. MJF had a security team and Shawn Spears by his side who would put Wardlow in handcuffs to ensure his safety.
MJF then revealed that he has put stipulations in the contract for a singles match between the two men at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Via this, Wardlow will have to get through a number of obstacles in the coming weeks to even get his hands on MJF at the next AEW pay-per-view.

Per MJF, he is going to take off his belt and deliver ten lashings to Wardlow’s back. If he survives then Wardlow and Shawn Spears will compete against one another in a steel cage match, a style of match that Wardlow has never survived. To ensure the win for Spears, MJF will serve as the special guest referee in the steel cage match.
If Wardlow is able to get through these tasks in the way, then only he will go one-on-one against MJF at AEW Double or Nothing 2022, later this month. In more news from the stipulation, Wardlow will be released from his ‘MJF contract’ if he wins the PPV match.
Another match for AEW Double or Nothing was confirmed during this week’s Dynamite where we saw the in-ring debut of former ROH star Danhausen as he stepped in the ring against Tony Nese. Unfortunately, the star with face paint on was defeated in less than a minute after Nese hit a running knee in the corner.
Rising star, Hook would then come out from the backstage area and enter the ring to chase off Nese and Mark Sterling. It appears that the unlikely alliance between Danhausen and Hook continues by the name of “HookHausen (Hook & Danhuasen).”
After this segment, it was announced on the show that this team will join forces to take on Tony Nese and Mark Sterling in the buy-in, pre-show match at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. It has already been announced that the main event of the show will see AEW World Heavyweight Champion ‘Hangman’ Page vs. the number-one contender, CM Punk.
