Due to the ongoing beef between the two, a match between Roman Reigns and Riddle is expected to take place on television. Riddle is the front-runner when it comes to challenging the undisputed champion but it won’t be happening at a premium live event, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Recent reports have been suggesting that Riddle was going to be challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE’s Money In The Bank. The storyline on WWE TV also suggested the same RK-Bro star called out Reigns on television after his tag team partner Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura have been taken out.

But earlier this week it was reported that Roman Reigns is being removed from Money in the Bank 2022. Due to that, any potential match against Riddle will be happening on a televised WWE show that is on an upcoming episode of WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown. Riddle is also set to appear on the blue brand this week, as the hunt for the championship continues for him.

Riddle is on a hunt for Roman Reigns on WWE TV
Riddle is clear in his mind that he wants a piece of the Tribal Chief. It was on Raw that the former Raw Tag Team Champion appeared on Miz TV and stated said he was tired of fighting Sami Zayn and The Usos every week and that it was time to fight Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
Following that announcement, the stage is set for a confrontation on WWE Smackdown. Over on Raw Talk, Riddle further noted that he was coming for Roman Reigns and on the blue brand as he is looking for the title match,
“This Friday, I’m gonna show up to SmackDown, and eventually I’m gonna find the Tribal Chief. I’m gonna get my match. I’m gonna do what stallions do and take that championship away, bro.”

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was originally scheduled to feature for the next premium live event, Money in the Bank but he was taken off the show, along with Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. The move came after the event was shifted from the 65,000-seater Allegiant Stadium to the 17,000-seater MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada.
