One of the major talking points coming out of Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary 2022 was the appearance of WWE Superstar AJ Styles. To honor the 20th Anniversary of the wrestling promotion, former Impact stars including AJ appeared in video messages on the PPV show.

As seen in the video releases, AJ thanked WWE for the opportunity and spoke about being in the first-ever match in TNA back in 2002 featuring himself, Jerry Lynn, Low-Ki vs. the Flying Elvises in the inaugural match. He also noted that the one match that changed everything for him was his match at Unbreakable 2005 against Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. Styles also thanked fans for making him the most impactful wrestler for the company.
