Over the past couple of years or so, Liv Morgan has been trying to establish herself as a solo identity on the Monday Night Raw and Smackdown roster. Since her debut, she has primarily been utilized through The Riott Squad alongside other tag team performers. However, she brushed up his in-ring skills to prove the doubters wrong and that she could also be a credible singles competitor.

Her championship feud against Becky Lynch by the end of 2021 allowed Liv Morgan to achieve that status as she could somewhat make it to the women’s main event scene. She was ultimately defeated in that feud but her efforts were praised as that crazy girl gimmick from The Riott Squad gang having a blue tongue is over.

However, she did pin Ronda Rousey to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank 2022. Now, On a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Cornette expressed his true feelings about the Raw roster member.

While the former WWE associate seemingly sees the potential in women like Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan is yet to be up to the mark. As an on-screen character, he doesn’t he believe that Morgan can outwrestle Ripley. Besides, she is considered to be so good-looking to be a wrestler in the first place.

“But when Rhea and Liv got in there, again Ripley is everything I like about women’s wrestling and Morgan is the opposite. She’s too small, her sh*t it’s awkward, she’s trying to do sh*t to bigger people and they’re trying to let her, it doesn’t come across. I don’t… she’s too pretty… I just don’t see it.”

Cornette was possibly referencing the six-person mixed tag team match at Hell in a Cell which saw Liv Morgan and her team coming up short against Judgment Day featuring Ripley. The next night, she again came up short against Ripley during a fatal-4-way match that was contested for the number-one contender’s spot for the Raw Women’s Championship.

It’s worth mentioning that Liv Morgan’s good looks eventually landed her a movie role in recent times. She is set to make her major film acting debut in the star-studded dark comic thriller titled The Kill Room. The film directed by Nicol Paone will have Marvel Studios star Samuel L. Jackson in it.
