The bilateral media rights of the BCCI will delay further as the interested broadcasters have requested more time to work on things to secure the rights for the next cycle. The Indian Cricket team will return to action with a series against in West Indies in July to prepare for the all-important ODI World Cup.

Initially, a BCCI source said that they would finalise the deal by July but it is expected to delay at least until August due to the involvement of various stakeholders. According to reports, the agreement comes into action from India vs Australia series in September.

A lot of discussion among office-bearers happened during a meeting, a suggestion was that felt that the team’s on-field performance must be given attention in addition to the media rights market share, before arriving at the final numbers.

The world’s richest cricket board (BCCI) is all set to get around 10,000 crores in the ongoing round (2024-27) of the media rights sale. According to close sources, ICC confirmed that  BCCI’s influence will increase and return in their increased revenue share. Under the ICC FTP from 2024-27, India is scheduled to play 38 Tests, 42 ODIs, and 61 T20Is.

The media rights for the next in what India and the rest contribute to the International Cricket Council (ICC)  is set to have a major effect following the (2024-27) media rights sale. Indian broadcasters have already shelled out $3 billion for the rights on a four-year deal, which was finalized on August 2022.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has secured a new sponsorship deal for India’s Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 teams. They have announced Adidas as a brand-new partnership as the kit sponsor for the BCCI starting June 2023 to March 2028.

The complete detail about the financial dealings of the sponsorship was not revealed but according to reports, the financials are known around65 lakh per match by previous deal with MPL for the last three years. In 2020, MPL Sports (Mobile Premier League) spent Rs 370 Crore to become the jersey sponsor for India.
