Jamshedpur witnessed shameful act

It was in 2002. Jamshedpur’s Keenan Stadium was the scene of ugly crowd unrest during an ODI between India and the West Indies.
With the visitors requiring only 12 more runs to chase down an imposing total, a portion of the crowd started to throw bottles on to the pitch, light fires in the stands and even ripped apart advertising boards.
As the umpires and players rushed to the dressing room for safety, the match was abandoned for security reasons with the Windies winning through Duckworth-Lewis.
