The arrival of MS Dhoni – the captain. After the England tour the selectors sent a young side led by an inexperienced MS Dhoni for the inaugural World T20 in South Africa. Not much was expected from them but the team created history as they went all the way to clinch the title. The tournament witnessed MS Dhoni’s ability as a captain. Later, Dhoni went on to lead his side in all the formats.
