Ben Cutting six

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batsmen had an absolute ball in the middle against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final of IPL 2016. Led by the ever dynamic David Warner, the Sunrisers amassed a mammoth 208-7 in 20 overs. Warner led the show with another spectacular outing as he blasted his way at the top.

Warner found great support from veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh, who hit a few delightful strokes as well. However, the icing on the cake for the Sunrisers Hyderabad came from Ben Cutting’s priceless cameo. Cutting’s 15 balls unbeaten knock of 39 could have a great impact on the outcome of the game. Cutting hit as many as 4 massive sixes and three fours.

One of those sixes was a monstrous strike on the bowling of Shane Watson. On the second ball of the 20th over, Cutting hit Watson for a six which hit the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium and went as far as 117 meters. Below, is the video of that massive six by Ben Cutting.

Despite the high total, Royal Challengers spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was confident about chasing the total down. “It’s a good batting track, earlier we thought it’s a slow wicket. With dew, it will be very difficult to bowl. Obviously, Warner is in good form and I’m confident that we will chase this down. The batsmen are in good form and whenever you are chasing, first six overs are gonna be crucial. Virat Kohli is pumped up as ever, even Chris Gayle is there. ABD is in good form too, our top 4 will do this,” said Chahal.
