12) Literally The Wall (2003)
Some consider this is the innings for which Rahul Dravid was given the nickname “The Wall”. He single-handedly confronted the Australian attack and smashed a wonderful double-hundred in the first innings and an impressive 70 not out in the second innings that led India to victory as Australia was bowled out for less than 200 in the second innings.
11) Sehwag’s 3O9 IN Multan (2004)
India’s historic tour of Pakistan saw them winning the Test series 2-1. What made the series more memorable was Virender Sehwag’s triple century in Multan. The Delhi batsman smashed an outstanding 309 from 375 balls in the first Test. Sachin Tendulkar also scored a brilliant 194*. India secured the win by an innings and 52 runs.
10) Memorable win in Perth (2007)
India registered arguably one of its most famous overseas Test wins when they defeated Australia in Perth which then was considered as the graveyard of subcontinental teams and gave the Aussies a test of their own medicine.
