Clive Lloyd’s surprising declaration in the second innings in Port of Spain saw a shocking defeat as India successfully chased down a then-world record winning total. It eventually forced West Indies to ignore spin bowling and going in for an all-pace attack for the next 20 years.
2) Zaheer taught the England team a perfect lesson (2007)
In the second Test of the series at Nottingham, England made a forgettable mistake of provoking Zaheer Khan by placing some jelly beans at the crease when he came out to bat.
The incensed Zaheer, who had already taken four wickets in the first innings, added five more in the second innings en route to the Man of the Match award as India won the Test by seven wickets.
