Initially, he was not included in the 2011 World Cup squad but Praveen Kumar’s injury led the entry of Sreesanth in the mega event. He had some decent performances at the biggest stage of ODI cricket, but his career failed to revive after that.

Sreesanth was once a first-choice bowler for India in every big platform. But soon his career faced a downfall because of his wrong deeds. He was found guilty in the spot-fixing scandal while playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2013. He was also surrounded by many other controversies.
