5) MS Dhoni:

The guy from a small town, Ranchi, became the superhero of India. MS Dhoni gave India 2011 World Cup trophy after a 28-year long wait. He was the prolific with bat in the finals.
He promoted himself above Yuvraj Singh and handled the pressure of the team. When India needed four runs, he struck a huge six which became the most memorable incident of the 2011 World Cup. He scored 91 runs in 79 balls and was adjudged with Man of the Match for his match-winning performance.
Under his captaincy, India was the part of many semi-final or final of the mega-events. He led India to the semi-finals in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and ICC World T20 2016 as well. In January 2017, Dhoni gave up captaincy across limited-overs formats and played as a wicket-keeper batsman in white-ball cricket. Earlier, he retired from red-ball cricket in 2014.
Dhoni last played with the team in the disheartening semi-final against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Since then, he is under sabbatical, and the speculation of retirement is always around.
