AB de Villiers (South Africa) – 9 sixes
South African star AB de Villiers maintained his familiar aggressive batting in the 2016 T20 World Cup. In that entire tournament, De Villiers smashed a total of nine sixes with his bat, which was the second most sixes for a Proteas batsman in a T20 World Cup edition.
Though he mostly underperformed in that tournament, he batted brilliantly in one game of that tournament which was against Afghanistan during the Super 10 Stage (at Mumbai on 20th March 2016). In that game, the right-handed batsman hit five sixes as he scored 64 runs off just 29 balls (4 fours and 5 sixes).
