Just like Shakib’s innings, there are no words to describe his innings as well. He along with Shakib pulled off a stunning heist to upset New Zealand and rule them out of the race for the semi-final. The time at which his innings came, it can be termed as the best innings ever played in the history of Bangladesh cricket, as he could have easily followed other batsmen in condition where everyone was struggling but he stood there as a rock solid, to win the game from a point, to keep his team’s hopes alive in the tournament.
