- Select Taskin Ahmed:
The move to bench Taskin Ahmed at the expense of the part-time off spin of Mosaddek Hossain was a major blunder from Bangladesh’s perspective in their first game against England. It was a move which ultimately cost them the game, as with Taskin not playing, England didn’t have too many challenges in keeping the scoreboard ticking without taking risks. Taskin as a bowler might be a little expensive, but he is always among the wickets and that puts the opposition under pressure. Australia as a side can decimate Bangladesh if a part-timer has to bowl ten overs, thus making Taskin’s presence far more significant.
