Plunkett has now been a key part of this England ODI outfit and the seamer had a great day at Cardiff, as he ably exploited the uneven bounce in the pitch to trouble the New Zealand batsmen. During his spell, he didn’t just keep things tight, but also chipped in with a couple of wickets, dismissing all-rounders Jimmy Neesham and Corey Anderson.
