The official Twitter handle of International Cricket Council (ICC) brutally trolled a Pakistani fan who accused the governing body of the game of being biased towards Team India.
The incident unfolded when the ICC tweeted a photo of a Sri Lankan fielder failing to stop a ball from reaching the boundary with a swarm Indian fans cheering in the background during the Champions Trophy encounter between the two teams on Thursday (June 8). Without writing anything, the ICC just posted their message with a series of smiling emojis with Indian flags in-between them along with pictorially representing the fielder on the other side of the boundary.

However, the ICC’s tweet did not impress one Pakistan fan who tweeted:“I dare you to stop kissing India’s ass for 5 minutes. Just 5 minutes.”

But instead of explaining its tweet, the ICC stole the show with a brilliant reply. “Don’t suppose you were following us yesterday by chance????”

The tweet was undoubtedly a reference to Pakistan’s crucial 19 runs win over South Africa by Duckworth-Lewis system on Wednesday (June 7). After electing to field first, Pakistan had restricted the Proteas for a paltry 219 for 8 in the allotted overs and was in a spot of bother after losing 3 for 93. But Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik added 26 runs for the fourth wicket before the rain arrived and ended the match. The win also kept alive Pakistan’s hopes of making it to the last four.
