South Africa’s didn’t quite turn up in their Group B match against India at the Oval, as the men in blue mauled the Proteas with utter ease. Termed as a virtual quarter-final between the two powerhouses of ODI cricket, the game didn’t quite live up to the hype, as South Africa meekly surrendered to the ruthless aggression of team India.

With the win now, India is likely to top Group B and head into the semis to take on Bangladesh, a side which they beat by 240 runs in their second warm-up game. For South Africa though, some serious questions need to be answered and answered at the soonest. The future of their captain AB de Villiers is one such uncertain aspect.

With India being all over South Africa, below, we have a look at the five turning points of this game.
