For the second consecutive game, Dhawan did his job alongside Rohit Sharma i.e. giving a good start to the team. But in the game against Sri Lanka, he was much better. An innings of 125 came in 128 balls and never during the innings, he looked to go defensive. It was riding on his century and partnership with MS Dhoni that India posted such a huge total on the board, which later couldn’t be defended.
