It was an absolute brain freeze of a decision to play Wahab Riaz ahead of Junaid Khan against India. Pakistan bore the brunt for that, as Riaz was taken to the cleaners by the Indian batsmen. Now that he is out of the reckoning, Junaid Khan should walk back into the team. A genuine wicket taker who can reverse swing the ball, Junaid should be backed without second thoughts. His recent form has been excellent as well, as he took four wickets in the first warm-up game. Junaid probably is Pakistan’s best weapon against someone as dangerous as AB de Villiers.
