Imran Tahir Nemesis For Sri Lanka; 4 for 27:

The World No. 2 ranked leg-spinner Imran Tahir, has been a revelation with the ball and he made things quite difficult for Sri Lanka in the recent past and in particular third match of the ongoing Champions Trophy and first of the Group B clash was no different.
In his 8.3 overs, the Lahore-born Imran Tahir claimed three wickets after conceding 27 runs at the economy rate of 3.17.
The 38-year-old spinner dismissed stand-in skipper Upul Tharanga on 57 when David Miller completed a simple catch in the deep after trapping Chamara Kapugedara in front of the wickets on nought.
Dangerous Asela Gunaratne was also bagged by Tahir after Wayne Parnell completed a catch which saw latter scoring just four off 13 deliveries.
Imran Tahir, who has been working hard one season after another, has a knack of picking wickets on non-spinning tracks which further makes him a potent weapon for a skipper. Interestingly, the spinner has bagged 23 wickets in 10 matches now against Sri Lanka.
