Bangladesh has a short and forgettable history at this tournament. Thanks to their poor ODI track record, they could manage to appear in the competition in just four editions.
The first came in the year 2000 and made themselves eligible for the next three editions as well in 2002, 2004 and 2006 before failing to qualify in the further seasons.
After missing the 2009 and 2013 editions, a newly improved Bangladesh is all set to play in the upcoming edition.
