It’s shame to see West Indies failing to qualify for the upcoming Champions Trophy. They boast of great record over across all formats but the last half of the decade has seen their worth diminish very significantly.
The Champions of the 2004 edition have played 24 matches so far in the history of the tournament. In all, carry a winning percentage of 13 wins, 10 losses and one tied game.
They were a regular feature in the all editions starting from 1998 till 2013. However, the 2017 edition won’t see them participating, as they currently out of the top eight in the ODI rankings.
