With 59.09 % to their credits, Sri Lanka has a good win percentage overall. The Lankan Lions, who were the joint winners in the 2002 edition with Asian rivals India, carry a record of 13 wins and nine losses out of the 24 matches in which they featured in the tournament.
Two of the fixtures get carried to the no result column. But, doesn’t make a huge difference.
The track record may get spoiled a bit, as the current setup, which is under a transition period, does not promise great things in the upcoming tournament.
