Mahela Jayawardena – 742 (Sri Lanka)

Mahela Jayawardena, one of the strongest pillars of Sri Lanka batting order, has a wonderful record in the Champions Trophy. He made his entry in the Champions Trophy against West Indies in Nairobi on 4th October 2000 and played until the 2013 edition in England, finishing with 742 runs in 22 matches including five half-centuries.
He scripted his best performance at The Oval against Australia during the group stages in 2013. He hit an unbeaten 84 to play the lead role in the 20-run win over the mighty Aussies.
